Working of Transformer:- What is transformer? An apparatus used for reducing or increasing the voltage of alternating current is known as transformer. OR Transformer is a static device which is used to transfer electrical energy from one circuit to another circuit (which are electrically isolated but magnetically coupled) without changing frequency. Principle of Transformer:-               Transformer works on the principle of mutually induced EMF. When an AC supply is connected to the primary winding this AC current will produce a changing magnetic field surrounding the primary winding.
